Here is my take on the psych mix - a study on the specific mind state.
Some parts are taken from live sets made over the years while some are self-indulgent
explorations of the multitrack mix.
I wish to thank everyone who contacted me over the years, supported in any form,
shared links to my podcasts, wrote reviews, or were patient for my slow output
to manifest itself. I consider it a priviledge to have some of my creations heard
from all these impressive labels or radio shows. As always, there is no tracklist
provided, but give me a shout and I can provide clarifications.

As a player in the San Diego County hip hop scene for over ten years,
John Pain (aka DJ Pain) has been preaching the gospel of good underground
hip hop to the masses and the underground alike, with a passion fueled by love
for the people and the music.
He's part of the Hermanos Del Pulpo with fellow turntablist Chaps and a frequent guest
for Ninja Tune's Solid Steel show. Over the years he made a shitload of tasty mixtapes
such as Konflict, Road To Oblivion, The Odd Side Of The Sun, Remembering Tomorrow
or more recently The Soothing System with King Megatrip.
